We pride ourselves in providing a high standard of accommodation in our friendly rural B & B in the beautiful Machars Peninsula. We are surrounded by open countryside with long distance views to the Galloway Hills and you will find that this area has something for everyone be it walking, cycling, golf, fishing, sailing or just unwinding in this unspoilt and virtually unknown tourist destination.
Accommodation
Our cottage dates from 1847 when it was built as a pair of semi-detached cottages for agricultural workers. Since then it has been converted into one with the original cottages linked at the rear by a conservatory. This gives guests the benefit of their own entrance door so that they can come and go as they please. We have a family room, a double room and a twin room. All are ensuite with showers, thermostatic radiators, tea/coffee making facilities and freeview television. Our sunny conservatory at the rear serves as a private guests' lounge and breakfast room and overlooks landscaped gardens with pool and waterfall. Free wired internet access is available here. Ample private parking and secure storage for cycles.
Availability
We are open all year and offer discounted rates for stays of three nights or more. Our rates are £30 per person per night including full Scottish breakfast. Regret that we do not have the facility to accept payment by credit cards, and we cannot accommodate pets.
